How To Think Originally
Originality often feels elusive because we’re not taught to think independently—we’re taught to follow.
Most of us grow up adopting the beliefs of authority figures to fit in and survive. While that works for approval, it limits our ability to think critically or see beyond the framework we’ve inherited.
To truly think originally, we need to start questioning everything, even our own assumptions, and approach life with a healthy dose of skepticism.
Sometimes, being original isn’t about creating brand-new ideas—it’s about seeing something old through your own lens.
That’s why I focus on exploring niches others overlook, whether it’s obscure books or cross-disciplinary topics. There’s immense value in connecting ideas from different fields.
And when it comes to articulating thoughts, structure helps. I use frameworks to organize ideas, turning scattered thoughts into clear solutions. Above all, originality grows through action—experimenting, failing, and learning along the way.
