Consistency is a superpower
+ growing trend: AI in healthcare (+ how to leverage in 2026)
Good day!
We’re almost done with 2025 and in the next week, millions of us will reflect over who we are, what we want from life, what worked for us (+what didn’t!) in 2025.
This edition attempts to help us grab 2025 by the balls, get a head start and take charge of destiny. But first, this image (because you really liked visualization according to the last poll)

🔥 1. “Consistency is a superpower”
credit: Nick Huber, Owner of Somewhere, Bolt Storage, RE Cost Seg and more
On of my superpowers:
I’m consistent and balanced.
It isn’t 0 of 100.
Consistent energy into my companies for years.
I’ve never let myself get fat. Same weight for my entire life.
I’ve never given up alcohol or certain foods.
I have done weekly date nights with my wife for 15 years.
I sleep 7+ hours a night on average every month for years and years.
Too many people go to the extremes. They are either losing weight or gaining weight. Working 24/7 or checked out. Depressed or overcompensating. Training for an Ironman or not working out at all.
Balance is the key!

🔥 2. A system for building grit… the 40% rule”
This insight, popularized by former Navy SEAL David Goggins, is a game-changer for anyone who wants to unlock hidden potential in their work and life.
…it was a brutal day…scorching heat, relentless headwind…and around mile 4, my mind began urging me to quit.
That’s when I recognized the false surrender signal. Despite the challenging conditions, I wasn’t physically done..my mind was simply trying to protect me from discomfort. For the next 6 miles, I battled my own mental resistance.
There’s something uniquely revealing about physical challenges that makes the 40% Rule undeniable. When your legs are still moving despite your mind’s protests, you can’t ignore the gap between perceived and actual limits. Unlike cutting your workday short as an entrepreneur or abandoning a writing session because “you don’t feel like it,” your body provides immediate, tangible evidence that you possess far more capacity than your thoughts admit.
Today’s opportunity
Practical AI uses in medicine

Spectral AI is a wound imaging startup. It uses multispectral imaging to scans wounds across different wavelengths on the electromagnetic spectrum.
AI then analyzes the images to predict how the wound will heal, using data not visible to the human eye.
Spectral reported $15.6M YTD revenue in November 2025, partly from US government contracts
How to tap into this trend in 2026
Spectral AI is part of the Healthcare AI meta trend. The global healthcare automation market is projected to be worth $119.5B by 2033.
And wide adoption of AI in the US healthcare system could save between $200B and $360B per year.
Patients & Caregivers
Ask for AI-supported second opinions on scans and diagnostics especially for the 41% of those with chronic, non healing wounds (research)
Choose providers that use AI-assisted imaging for wound care, cancer screening, or recovery monitoring
Entrepreneurs & Builders
Create services around AI deployment, training, or compliance
Focus on narrow clinical problems with clear ROI (e.g., wound healing, stroke triage)
Invest in “boring” service providers: clinical validation services, AI model auditing, regulatory consulting, deployment & training
Spot local business opportunities hospitals won’t touch e.g independent wound care monitoring services
Create tools for clinicians’ patients (not clinicians) e.g apps that translate imaging results into plain language, AI-powered “what this means for you” summaries
Government & Public Sector Workers
Expand pilot programs using AI imaging to reduce care costs
Partner with startups for dual-use civilian and military healthcare tools
Use predictive imaging for preventative and population health initiatives
